Course Paper: You must write a one Page paper written on anything you want about wakeboarding, wakeskating, or waterskiing. The point of the paper is to learn something about wakeboarding or waterskiing that you did not know. Please do not write about what you learned on the cable or your first time wakeboarding. That will not teach you anything new. I want you to learn something you didn't know befor writing this paper. (exp. History of the sport, difference in fins, ballast systems, three stage rocker, your favorite rider...) These papers may be read in front of the class. We will elaborate on areas that will be helpful and informational to the other students. The best source for info is the web on sites such as:
www.cablewakeboard.com
www.wakeworld.com
www.wakeboarder.com
www.usawaterski.org
Additional Costs: Cable Passes for Class $195.00. Thos will entitle each student to their water sessions on the cable lake at Texas Ski Ranch.

Grading Procedure: Class will be graded mainly on participation and effort. Progress will be weighed in some (but since the inception of the class, progress has come to all students who have put forth effort.) Students will not be required to do a certain trick or make a number of laps around the lake for a grade. We encourage students that have never skied or wakeboarded before as well as good athletes that are already fairly accomplished in the sport to take this class. Grades are determined on an individual basis. The paper will also be a small portion of your grade. If you have any questions on the grading procedures please call me at TSR 830-627-2843
